Dear Aveline
When you were up here last weekend we talked about how you loved frangipanis. How wonderful it is when Sydney smells like them when you get off the bus.
So, silly or not, this is in my kitchen (where all the best magic is made)
I know that someone out there desperately needed a mohawked, tatooed, hot pink fairy godmother, but....

I do like the idea of having an Aveline as a fairy godmother. She'd do a darn good job and I'm sure her creative skills would be used in adding just the right hint of irony in anything she touches.
Her reasons for liking Frangipanis were very much her. That pick me and I'll wither and don't even bother trying to stick me in a vase attitude. Mmmm... rebellious, independent flowers.
Very sweet. Damn we just missed her.
